Tell us about the proposal
Billy unbeknown to me asked my father’s permission first then spoke with my boys to make sure they were happy, he then proposed on one knee on Christmas day 2013 in front of my whole family, it was beautiful and there were lots of happy tears.
Why did you choose your wedding venue? Tell us what you loved about it:
We looked around and me having been married many years ago we didn’t want a church wedding, Billy and I are the most chilled out couple, we wanted everything to be as easy and stress free for everyone, that’s why we decided to do everything in the one place so the Marriott seemed the perfect choice and a local venue for everybody. I have to say they were wonderful with everything from start to finish, we were so impressed with them!
At what point did you decide you’d like a string quartet?
Pretty much from the off! we set our wedding date back in April 2014 and pretty much decided it would be a beautiful touch having a quartet play at the ceremony, such a romantic touch!
Did you have any concerns about having a string quartet?
No not at all !
What have your guests since said about The Bossard Quartet since your wedding?
That you were absolutely wonderful, we kept you a surprise so all our guests were pleasantly surprised which was lovely, they really loved having you there, said the music was beautiful, unfortunately Billy the kids and I missed it all due to having photos taken at Porchester castle, hopefully we’ll get to see some of you on our video. We Look forward to that.
Tell us about your other wedding suppliers – who was your photographer? Who did the flowers? Your evening entertainment?:
