On Saturday 24th August, The Bossard Quartet entertained for the last night of the bandstand series, an evening of classical repertoire out on Castle Fields in Southsea. We performed a selection of classical and popular repertoire to entertain the audience out on the fields, who had brought along picnics and chairs to listen.
We also shared the stage at one point with the Victory Brass, where we combined forces to play a rousing rendition of Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and the National Anthem to finish off the concert.
We were very happy to have been asked to play – the evening was organised by Portsmouth City Council and a big thanks to the light and sound technicians
