We play at a lot of weddings of course. But we also really enjoy playing at corporate events. Last year we were lucky enough to get asked to play at the Virgin Media Christmas Party.
We were quite excited by the prospect of meeting Richard Branson (alas, he was not there) and so we departed off to Farnborough to the spectaculour Aviator Hotel. If you’ve not been to the Aviator Hotel before, it’s an impressive display of modernism in a hotel – all neon lighting and super modern curves in the interior architecture.
We set ourselves up on the dancefloor and proceeded to entertain the Virgin Media staff with our eclectic repertoire. They had made a special request for Lady Gaga – which we were happy to do! It was somewhat bizarre to be playing under the light of disco lighting,, but why not?
